Many different delicious fruits can be grown in Central Alberta, but there are some important points to know to enhance you success levels. Come and learn how to choose the right location and soil for your orchard, fertilizing practices, conquering pollination problems, pruning practices and even some tips on manipulating our microclimate for better winter survival. Some handouts will be provided, but be prepared to take notes.
