This group of people originated from German Tyrol. They fled persecution in the old country around 1528. 1918 saw 50 families immigrate to Canada. They brought their way of life with them and maintain it till this day. They live communally, worship together and are largely agricultural based. They produce most of their own food. If there is a crisis in the community, they are the first to help out.
Join us while they open their doors and show us around. Meet up at DNA Gardens at 12:30 and we will convoy down to Huxley Colony.
