Zone Envy

We all suffer from this malady from time to time! We love to try to push the limits of our hardiness zones! There are ways to actually grow plants better suited to a slightly milder climate than ours, or simply learn how to enhance the chances of survival for trees and shrubs you may have struggled with. Learn what actually makes plants grow, and what makes them get ready for our winter weather, and what can actually enhance their hardiness. We will also cover a few winter protection techniques, and how to successfully store zone 5 to 7 woody plants in a garage or root cellar.
