Apple Crab - Chestnut

This is an incredibly versatile apple bred by the university of Minnesota. It has very large fruit for a crab apple that has a nutty like flavor. Sweet enough to eat right off of the tree but also still tart and perfect for your Crab apple recipes. You really can't miss with this one. Ready by late August this apple can store for approx. one month. Disease resistant. We've grafted it onto both a V3 and a Columbia rootstock which will make for a slightly smaller tree.
