This bears attractive orange-yellow freestone fruits that are excellent for eating or preserving. Developed on the prairies. Harvest around mid-August. Susceptible to spring frosts effecting the blossoms. Plant in a locations with limited afternoon sun/heat to push the bloom time back.

Self pollinating but for better yields pair with Westcott or Nanking cherries.
