(Hybrid Plum, Late Season)
An incredible plum for the prairies, this fruit has a brilliant red skin with a bright, golden flesh. The tree is of excellent quality and is a heavy producer with a beautiful, unique weeping form that is sure to add to any garden. Stake the leading branch to choose the height you would like this weeping variety to grow to. This is a hybrid plum and it requires a wild plum to have fruit. Its fruit are large (4.5 centimeters) sweet and juicy. It matures the latest of the plums in the prairies; mid-September. excellent for eating fresh, freezing, jams, jellies and canning, fair for pie. This tree was developed at the University of Saskatchewan and was released in 1960.
