Pussy Willow is a tree known for its soft, silky catkins that emerge in spring, usually before their leaves. The catkins are a silvery grey and look like small, fluffy paws which is where the name Pussy Willow comes from!

Pussy Willows love to grow in moist, fertile soils and can tolerate various conditions, from full sun to partial shade. They are commonly used in landscaping since they are a beautiful ornamental addition to gardens. This tree can reach heights from 8-10m tall and can be pruned to encourage the growth of more fuzzy catkins.
