A very crisp texture, great fresh-eating apple that is sweet and has low acidity. It is best to let this apple fully ripen on the tree for optimal flavor; sometime in September. Stores well at cool temperatures for months on end. Best if you are looking for a strong and hardy apple tree that will provide great picking for years to come. Best yields if a there is another kind of apple tree in the area or neighborhood. Starts producing fruit at a young age.
