Large deep red cherries in early-mid august. Great for fresh eating. No pollinator required. The University affectionately calls it "Sweetie." Large fruit at 4.5 grams with Brix up to 20. Released as part of the romance series in 2004 from the University of Saskatchewan. Sweet if left on to ripen. Possible to grow it as a tree or a shrub.
