This is a dark red/black cherry similar to Carmine Jewel's appearance but ripens later. Very flavorful. Good for fresh eating and processing. This productive cherry is one of the best for juice. No pollinator required. Released as part of the romance series in 2004 from the University of Saskatchewan. Sweet if left on to ripen. Possible to grow it as a tree or a shrub.
