This hands-on workshop begins with one hour of clear, practical theory so you understand the why behind every cut. Then we head into the field for real-world experience — because the best way to learn pruning is by actually pruning.
We plan to work on 8–10 mature fruit trees, giving you the confidence to go home and tackle your own trees with skill and purpose.
Dress for the elements — prairie weather keeps things interesting this time of year. Snowmobile suit, toque, gloves… whatever it takes. We’re Canadians, eh? 😉
Bring your pruning “weapons” — especially hand shears. We’ll supply loppers, pole pruners, and small chainsaws for larger cuts.
