Pear - Beedle

This medium size fruit turns soft and yellowish when ripe. Sweet soft and juicy good fresh eating qualities with zero astringency. The tree has lovely maroon fall coloring that other pears do not have. It is named after the former Parks Director and Parks Planner for the City of St. Albert, Alberta where it was discovered. Good producing medium size pear. Harvest in early September, the pears become soft and sweet with good storage keeping qualities.
