The Zarechnaya pear is a Russian-bred, cold-hardy (Zone 3) cultivar known for producing sweet, buttery, yellow-skinned fruit weighing roughly 120 grams. Ripening in late August to early September, it is ideal for fresh eating or baking. This self-sterile tree requires a pollinator (like Early Gold or Golden Spice) and grows to 6m tall.
