Prunus X Coutts #3 (Sandcherry x Salincia) (Mid season)

This is a new introduction from 2022, developed by Jim Coutts in Unity, Saskatchewan. Small tree with very fragrant, white blossoms in spring. Produces medium-sized blue-purple fruit with unique golden flesh around mid August. This is a cherry plum fruit are 2.5-3cm. Good for fresh eating and canning. It needs another Cherry plum or Sandcherry for cross-pollination.
