Plum - Wild American

Pure Wild Plum for pollination of select plums. Yellow or red fruit, showy plants. Very hard to find these critical pollination plants! These plums have been pollinated by other wild plum not hybrid plums, making them the best pollinators for hybrid plums. Pin branches close to the ground so both early blooming and late blooming hybrids will be pollinated. If space is a consideration, try planting about 2-feet apart, pruning to prevent over-crowding. Perhaps get a neighbor to plant complimentary plants! Bees are our friends; they know no boundaries.

Our American Plums have been grafts of either BrookRed or Pembina plums to make a self pollinating plum tree.
