FAQ's
1. Where is DNA Gardens located?
Our farm is just outside of Elnora, Alberta!
Our year round permanent markets are in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary.
2. When are you open?
The Farm
The farm store is open year round to buy wines and spirits! We open for the season in May, and go through to September for events, upick, and weekends. Please see our visual schedule for summer 2025 that is posted on our website.
The Markets
The markets are open year round, from Friday - Sunday, with Calgary South also open on Thursday. Please see our list of markets that is posted on our website.
3. What is there to do at the farm?
You can easily plan to spend the day at the farm, depending on what you'd like to do! You can come for upick in the morning, and then stay for lunch while you enjoy a signature cocktail or wine slushie. There are self guided hiking trails, yard games, and a farm store to shop at. You can have home made gelato before you go!
Browse our tab called "Nearby attractions" if you want to check out something in the area as well!
4. Who is the Farm boy on your Saskatoon wine label?
Not surprisingly, we get this question a lot :) He's pretty good looking hey!? That is Dave Delidais, the owner of DNA Gardens. 50 years later he doesn't quite look like that anymore, but he is still working just as hard! If you come to the farm you will see him fixing some kind of machine or in the field somewhere! Be sure to stop and say hello if you see him!
