Night Time Guided Bat Walk

Fun and educational. Alberta Community Bat Association biologist will have a bat talk; watch bats leave their boxes. Participate in 2 official bat counts for each evening. Be a citizen Scientist.

Supper break

Count the bats 

Wear long johns, toques (you know - typical Canadian attire)

 Schedule:

Come early to buy pizza from our cafe

7:30pm - Guided Bat Walk.  Good walking shoes are an asset

8:30pm-9:30pm - Bat presentation by bat biologist.  You'll never look at a bat the same again.  Question and Answer period

10:00pm - Move into position around bat houses for official bat counts 

Come dressed as a bat!  Winner selected that evening and receives a gelato!

 PIZZA NIGHT! , WINE and our famous cocktails available for purchase. 

Camp in the orchard and enjoy pancake breakfast in the morning.

 Bring warm clothing!
