This is a fun and educational evening! An Alberta Community Bat Association biologist, Susan Holroyd, will lead a bat talk, then you will watch bats leave their boxes. You will participate in two official bat counts for each evening and be a citizen scientist!
Evening events:
Guided walk of our bat trails.

Count the bats
Wear long pants, and bring a sweater. Evenings are cool on the farm!
Schedule:
Come early to buy pizza from our cafe
7:30pm - Guided Bat Walk. Good walking shoes are an asset
8:30pm-9:30pm - Bat presentation by bat biologist. You'll never look at a bat the same again. Q&A to follow
10:00pm - Move into position around bat houses for official bat counts
Come dressed as a bat! Winner selected that evening and receives a gelato!
PIZZA NIGHT! , WINE and our famous cocktails available for purchase.
Camp in the orchard and enjoy pancake breakfast in the morning.
Bring warm clothing!
