Fun and educational. Alberta Community Bat Association biologist will have a bat talk; watch bats leave their boxes. Participate in 2 official bat counts for each evening. Be a citizen Scientist.

Wear long johns, touques (you know - typical Canadian attire
Schedule:
10:00am-9:00pm - Café open for lunch and dinner orders
7:30pm - Guided Bat Walk. Good walking shoes are an asset
8:30pm-9:30pm - Bat presentation by Susan Holroyd, bat biologist. You'll never look at a bat the same again. Question and Answer period
10:00pm - Move into position around bat houses for official bat counts
Dress as a bat! Winner selected that evening and receive a gelato
PIZZA NIGHT! , WINE and our famous cocktails available for purchase.
Free camping (no amenities) if attending event. (Register on line for camping and we will give you a farm credit)
Bring warm clothing!
