Apple - Alberta Buff

The Alberta Buff is a green/blush red-colored apple. Dr. Evans discovered it in Edmonton, likely from the old prairie breeding program. It is larger and later ripening than Norkent and has a sharp, sweet flavour like Honeycrisp. Alberta Buff is consistently picked as the best apple for flavour by the Devonian apple group. It has excellent eating and keeping qualities. This type of apple grows in Zone 2 and comes in 7-gallon pots.
