Apple Crab - Trailman

Trail Crab Apples are round, growing up to 1 ½ to 2 inches (4 to 5 cm) wide. They have pale yellow skin with orangey-red flushes. Inside, they have yellow, firm, crisp, juicy flesh with good flavour and a tart but not astringent taste. The fruit ripens late August, early September. It requires a pollinator nearby for fruit production.  Great for cooking baking, fresh eating, preserves and anything else you can do with a crab apple. One of the prairies best!
