Prunus Salicina ‘Brookred’ (Salicina x American hybrid – Late Season)

From flowering to fruiting season this plum is sure to impress. The plums arrives later in the season around the end of august with deep red skin and orange flesh. This plum requires a pollinator near by to produce fruit, best would be a Wild American plum. This tree will need full sun and average to evenly moist well drained soil. It does not like wet feet so do not over water. Use the fruit for fresh eating, canning, baking or cooking.
