Plants

Create your own thriving urban food forest or backyard orchard 🌳🍎
At DNA Gardens, we believe Alberta yards can grow far more than most people imagine. With over 50 years of hands-on experience growing fruit plants in Alberta, we offer something big box stores simply can’t — real-world knowledge, proven hardy varieties, and honest advice (yes, sometimes learned the hard way 😉).

We specialize in unique, cold-hardy fruit trees and plants selected specifically for Alberta’s climate. Whether you're planting a single apple tree or designing a full food forest, we’ll help you:
-Choose the right varieties for your space
-Plan your orchard layout
-Understand pollination needs
-Prepare for Alberta winters with proper overwintering techniques

We don’t just sell plants — we help you grow successfully.
